To introduce Sasuke, Kishimoto wrote a chapter that was set before the formation of his ninja squad, Team 7. The character's first name came from Sanpei Shirato's manga Sasuke and Sarutobi Sasuke, a fictional ninja character in Japanese children's stories. Discussing the series' future, his editor, Kosuke Yahagi, advised him to add a rival character for the protagonist Naruto and he created Sasuke. Manga artist Masashi Kishimoto did not include Sasuke Uchiha in his original concept for the Naruto series, a story revolving around the character Naruto Uzumaki. Character-based merchandise, including action figures and key chains, have been released. Sasuke has also placed highly in Naruto reader popularity polls and has also been the subject of studies by scholars. Nevertheless, Sasuke's characterization in latter parts of the story and more mature personality in the Boruto sequel earned further positive comments. His impressive fighting skills, plot contribution, and rivalry with Naruto Uzumaki received some praise, but he was criticized as a stereotypical rival in the mold of similar characters from other shōnen manga and as exhibiting a cold personality. Sasuke's character has received mixed responses from anime and manga publications. In the manga's animated adaptations, Sasuke was voiced by Noriaki Sugiyama in Japanese and Yuri Lowenthal in English. Nonetheless, Kishimoto has grown to enjoy drawing him. Despite Sasuke's dark character development later in the story, Kishimoto avoided portraying him as a villain he found designing the character challenging and had difficulty creating a suitable look for him. Kishimoto conceived Sasuke as a rival of the series' title character Naruto Uzumaki. Sasuke appears in several of the series' animated feature films and related media, including video games, original video animations ( OVAs), and Boruto: Naruto the Movie (2015) and its manga sequel, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations (2016), in which he is depicted as a vigilante supporting his village and a mentor to Naruto's son Boruto Uzumaki. Despite becoming empathetic toward his teammates Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno, Sasuke's feelings of powerlessness force him to abandon his friends and his home in his quest to become stronger, and to find Orochimaru. Most of its members were massacred by Sasuke's older brother, Itachi Uchiha, before the series began, leaving Sasuke one of the few living. Sasuke belongs to the Uchiha clan, a notorious ninja family, and one of the most powerful, allied with Konohagakure ( 木ノ葉隠れの里, English version: "Hidden Leaf Village"). Sasuke Uchiha ( Japanese: うちは サスケ, Hepburn: Uchiha Sasuke) ( / ˈ s ɑː s k eɪ/) is a fictional character in the Naruto manga and anime franchise created by Masashi Kishimoto. On the whole I'd say Naruto: 8.5/10 Naruto Shippuden: 9.Sasuke Uchiha as seen in Part I (right), Part II (left), and the finale as well as the Boruto film and series (middle) There are loads of surprises and loads of excitement waiting for you. I wish I could get a time machine!(you'll wish too!(very soon)) Just watch it if you have watched Naruto because you will miss the best and exiting parts of this anime. I'll warn you, you'll get angry on some of the characters so much that you'll bite your nails till it starts bleeding and you wont realise it(or you might)! The thing that bothers me the most(which will bother you too) is there is only one new episode that releases every week and I just can't wait for the next episode! I am up-to date with both the manga and the episodes, and it seems like a million years from now that they'll finish the episodes(at this rate). There are loads of emotional moments in this series, some that make you laugh, some that make you angry and some that make you cry. The new characters are 'awesome'(can't think of a better word). The battle scenes and the way Naruto and the rest come up with tactics are marvellous. The animation is much better than the previous one and the dialogues are simply amazing. The plot is brilliant like the previous one. This is one of the best anime I have seen so far.
